Hello and good luck to all the red belts, black stripes, and black belts pre-testing at Lake Villa Flying Dragons in Lake Villa, IL. Remember to stay hydrated and try to relax. You have all worked very hard to get here. This is just another step on your path. No matter what happens at this pre-test, we are proud of you. For some of us, this black belt pre-test might be our first time down at one of our fellow schools NAKA in Illinois.
Lake Villa Flying Dragons is located at 37041 IL-83, Lake Villa, IL 60046. Find it here on Google Maps! You can find Master Franks school in the trip mall near Deli Lama.
In addition, there is limited parking at Lake Villa Flying Dragons. The owner of the establishment has asked us to only park in the 4 stalls directly in front of the Lake Villa Flying Dragons Martial Arts School and in the parking spots by the street for this pre-test. Other businesses can get grumpy when people park for hours in front of their establishments, and we want every school to have the best relationship they can with their neighbors. Additional parking is available on and access the street. The school sent us these photos to help identify where to park! Any place marked in red is safe to park for the black belt pre-test.
Finally, please remember to bring your sparring gear, weapons, full school uniform, and belt. We’ll see you at the pre-test.
