Hello students!
Our next color belt test is Saturday, January, 21st. There will be no class that Saturday!
Please return your test papers to Amanda as soon as possible. It takes time to grade every paper, and Master Audrey get’s cranky when we have test papers returned Saturday morning. Many of you have the classes, but have not picked up a test paper. Let’s get this taken care of! Miss Amanda has plenty of these printed out and ready to go.
This color belt test will be split into two groups:

- 9 AM – 11 AM Green Belts and up
- 11:15 AM – 12:45 PM White Belts Through Green Stripes
What we Expect
Please arrive twenty minutes before your scheduled test time.
Everyone testing should wear their full white uniform to the color belt test. Additionally, green belts and higher should have all four patches on their uniforms and should bring sparring gear. Red Stripes on up are invited to sit on the testing board for the second and third group.
We would not invite you to test if we did not have confidence in your abilities. You earn that belt every time you show up to class. Belt tests just show the rest of us what you’ve already earned.
Illness and Early Testing
This month, we are trying something new for those who need to test early. To test early, please talk to Miss Amanda AND sign up for a class time to test the week before test during class. We need to know if we need extra black belt help to test students. The sign up sheet is taped next to the check in computer.
If you are feeling unwell, please let us know and stay home. We would much rather test you in class than have anything happen because you’re sick. If you’re on the fence, wear a mask.
For those not quite ready to test, our next color belt test is Saturday, March 18th.
