Remember to sign up for our Picnic Saturday July 20!
On Saturday, July 20, we will be having our Colored Belt Test & Picnic at Booth Lake Memorial Park in East Troy. All students, parents and friends are invited to the Picnic. We ask that you bring a small dish to pass. There is a $5 per person fee to cover the cost of renting the park and wrist bands for swimming. Sign-up at the school by July 11. Please be sure to take care of test & picnic fees at the school by July 16. It makes things much less hectic at the park.
Booth Lake Memorial Park has a beautiful beach with lifeguards for swimming. Bring whatever you need for swimming (vest, goggles, snorkel). The Park only provides the sand and water 😉 The park also has volleyball and horseshoe courts, a tank and kids play area. The water balloon toss will be back by popular demand. Remember that a tee shirt and dark pants are recommended for this test. Bring your weapon(s) if you have a weapons form(s). Leave your sparring gear at home.
We are testing as one group as soon as the park opens at 9 AM. Our plan is to finish testing by noon so we can start picnicking at 12:30.
